Rio Terrace Church

Our Christmas Eve services are an expression of hope, peace, joy, and love at Christmas time, on December 24, 2023.

The 4:30 pm service is a "Children's Lovefeast", especially suitable for young children, which features a snack, singing, story, and hands-on activities. Its fun and spirited for all ages!

​

The 6 pm and 8 pm "Carols and Candles" services feature the Christmas story and songs by candlelight, warmth and good cheer. Come, celebrate the birth of Christ, with us! The 6 pm service will feature our choir, and is held in person and online. The 8 pm service will have some jazzy flare, and will be a celebration of Holy Communion.

A Christmas Offering will be taken and distributed equally to the Bissel Centre, an Edmonton-based charity supporting people experiencing homelssness, as well as Star of Rammallah, a Moravian ministry in the West Bank, serving people with intellectual and physical disabilities, regardless of religious or cultural background.

Rio Terrace Church is a progressive, affirming, neighbourhood oriented church, focused on living by Christ's example of compassion and peacemaking. We hope that all will find welcome here.
